Workamper News to Present at OHCE

OHI has invited Workamper News to share about recruiting Workampers at their annual event, The Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo®️ (OHCE®).

The OHCE® is set to take place in Oklahoma City, Okla., from November 4-6, 2024. OHCE® stands out as the outdoor hospitality industry’s premier trade show, renowned for its focus on possibility-driven professional development and unparalleled networking opportunities. Recognized as a “Top 50” trade show by Trade Show Magazine, OHCE® offers a platform for businesses to thrive and expand. Attendees can expect to glean insights from industry-leading experts, forge connections with peers, explore cutting-edge products and services on the expo floor, and much more.

Luke & Jody Duquette, co-owners of Workamper News, will be attending the multi-day event. Find them on the show floor in booth #1124.

On Monday at 2pm, Jody will be giving a seminar on "Recruiting Workampers & Developing Your Workamper Program."

Seminar description: Workampers are people who live in an RV and take jobs to support their RV lifestyle. Many RV parks and campgrounds have found Workampers to be a perfect match for filling some or all of the positions on their team. In this seminar, I’ll go over some basics as well as give you actions you can take to start building or improving your Workamper program. Topics to be covered: who Workampers are; how to develop a recruiting plan; what tactics to take to recruit the right applicants and when; how to build your brand in the Workamping community; should your Workampers be employees or contractors; assessing your compensation package; interviewing tactics; structuring work agreements.

We know many of our Employer members will be in attendance. We look forward to seeing you!
