Iowa. Volunteer service at USACE Lake Red Rock. Workampers fill 33 service positions at Lake Red Rock in central Iowa. For the 2023 season, we are currently looking to fill 6 volunteer positions. Our amazing volunteer team provides essential services such as custodial work, fee booth hosting, visitor center staffing, light maintenance, and educational programming. Enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities and the peaceful relaxation of an Iowa summer while providing essential public service. Season typically runs late April thru early-October.
