California. Tallac Historic Site, South Lake Tahoe: Restoration and Maintenance Volunteer. Help maintain, preserve and restore two historic estates on the shore of Lake Tahoe! The Site is operated by the USFS and non-profit partner Tahoe Heritage Foundation. THF seeks active and hard-working volunteers - this position often involves strenuous activity. In exchange for 32 volunteer hours per week, we offer RV campsites near Lake Tahoe! Sites include water & power hookups and shared laundry facilities. Most sites include sewer hookups.
