Illinois. Spend the summer enjoying one of Illinois’ premier state parks as a volunteer camp host. Nestled in a tranquil rural setting just 60 minutes outside of Chicago, camp hosts enjoy the benefits of all that northern Illinois has to offer. Our park has beautiful trails, gorgeous timber and a 300+ acre lake known for fishing and kayaking. Hosts work 12-15 days a month; checking campers in and out as well as cleaning sites. Knowledge of computers and the ability to do light cleaning work required. Singles or couples may apply. We provide training as well as FHU. Our camping season is May 1 – October 31.
