The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District (Central) is seeking an individual or couple to perform housekeeping, lawn and cabin upkeep and general grounds maintenance at the historic Jeffrey Lodge. Central was created to enable the people of south-central Nebraska to develop the state’s irrigation and electric power potential. Recreation is another benefit of Central’s hydro-irrigation project. Nebraskans and visiting vacationers enjoy the excellent fishing, boating, swimming, camping and other recreational opportunities provided at Jeffrey Lake and along the Supply Canal. A full hookup RV site is offered in exchange for 20 hours of work per week. Beginning on April 1, 2017, Central is seeking commitments of at least 120 days, and longer-term opportunities are available.
