California. Volunteer a month at a working lighthouse! The Del Norte County Historical Society is looking for couples to serve as docents and gift shop staff. In exchange for your service, the society will provide an RV site for your month-long commitment. Battery Point Lighthouse is located in Crescent City, California, 20 miles south of the Oregon border, near Redwood National and State Parks. We are looking for couples for the summer months of 2023, 2024 & 2025.
