Illinois. Rend Lake, Benton, Illinois. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake are seeking volunteers for the 2022 recreation season. Rend Lake currently has a variety of volunteer positions available including, but not limited to: Campground Host, Administrative Assistant, Maintenance Support, and Natural Resources Management. Positions vary by project needs and volunteer interests/skills. Rend Lake offers full hookup campsites in exchange for 20 hrs per week and a 3-month minimum commitment.
