Updated October 2025

Your Workamper Resume is one of the best tools available to help you find your next great Workamping position. Knowing what employers see and how they search can help you better showcase your experience, skills, and availability.

The Workamper Resume Builder is created and managed by Workamper News (Workamper.com). It’s the original and most trusted resume system for the Workamping community, used by thousands of RVers and employers across the country.

Employer Searches

Safe, Secure, and Effective

Unlike generic job sites, your Workamper Resume is stored securely within Workamper.com. Only our paid Employer Members can access the Resume Database, ensuring your personal contact information is protected and not publicly searchable on the open web.

As a Workamper Pro member, you can quickly and easily create your resume using the Resume Builder. Once complete, your resume can be:

  • Published to the searchable Resume Database
  • Printed or saved as a PDF to be attached to job applications
  • Emailed directly to employers

What Employers See

When employers search the Resume Database, they can filter results based on many different criteria – making it important that your information is complete and accurate.

Employers may search by:

  • State or province
  • Salary/benefits preference (site only, pay + site, or negotiable)
  • Work setting (type of business)
  • Season preference (summer, winter, year-round, or all)
  • Hours desired (part-time, full-time, or negotiable)
  • Availability date
  • Specific skills or experience keywords

Search results are listed by most recently updated resumes first so keeping your information current helps you appear higher in the results.

Tips for Improving Your Results

Here’s how to make sure your resume appears in more searches and attracts the right employers:

  1. Complete every field – Employers often filter based on specific details. Leaving sections blank can keep your resume from showing up.
  2. Use clear, accurate language – Avoid misspellings or abbreviations that might not match what employers are searching for (e.g., spell out “maintenance” correctly).
  3. Highlight transferable skills – If you’re new to Workamping, list experience that shows reliability, teamwork, customer service, or technical ability.
  4. Keep it up to date – Employers see when a resume was last updated. A stale date can suggest you’re not currently seeking work.
  5. Be honest and realistic – Select only the locations and business types you are actually interested in working in. Be clear about your requirements so neither you nor the employer waste time.
