USACE Membership Details
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Employer membership is provided at no cost to USACE projects through a national agreement with Workamper News.
This partnership gives every participating project access to powerful recruiting tools, educational resources, and advertising opportunities to help you connect with quality Workampers — whether volunteers or contractors.
Overview
Each USACE project receives their own account with Workamper News. This account includes advertising credits, resume search access, and training resources for recruiting and managing Workampers.
Your participation helps demonstrate the value of this program. Please make use of the benefits below so the partnership can continue to be maintained for all projects.
Membership Benefits
Your USACE membership provides you with the following benefits:
1. Help Wanted Hotline Ads
- Run up to 10 Hotline Ads per project, per year at no cost (contract year ends August 31).
- Each ad runs for 14 days on the Job Listings page and is emailed directly to tens of thousands of active Workampers.
- Use ads to recruit for volunteer or contract positions, fill immediate openings, or plan ahead for upcoming seasons.
- Ads can start on any weekday.
- Ad Limit: 100 words, including contact information so Workampers can reach you directly.
- Log into your projects account to submit your ad.
Example Ad:
Enjoy the summer at beautiful Lake Red Rock in central Iowa! The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently seeking volunteers to fill several positions in our campgrounds and recreation areas for the 2025 recreation season. A full-service campsite is provided in exchange for service averaging about 24 hours per week. Duties include fee booth staffing, custodial work, and general groundskeeping. Season commitment: mid-April through mid-October. Contact Park Ranger [Name] at [email] or [phone].
2. Resume Database Access
Search the Workamper Resume Database to find active Workampers seeking new opportunities.
- Filter by skills, location, availability dates, and more.
- Save and rate resumes to build your applicant pool and write notes on your saved resumes for later reference.
3. Knowledge Base Articles
Access articles and guides to help learn about employing Workampers and improve your advertising, interviewing, recruiting and retention practices.
4. Employer Profile
Your Employer Profile lets you showcase your project with up to five photos, your brand colors, and additional links — all visible to logged-in paid Workamper members. It’s an effective way to build your reputation and attract applicants who fit your culture.

USACE projects can be featured in an episode of The Workamper Show Podcast, reaching Workampers across all major podcast platforms.
