Toss out your snow-blower and stock up on sunblock because winter-time high temperatures in the
Phoenix area are typically in the 70s and 80s. And even better, working at one of our highly
regarded active-adult Arizona Resorts during the “snowbird season” will leave you plenty of time
for savoring some of that world-famous Southwestern sunshine.
Indeed, after just a few hours of work each week, you’ll be able to enjoy our fabulous on-site
resort-style amenities — sparkling pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, pickleball courts,
tennis courts, hiking classes, AquaCycle classes and much more — and/or play a round or two (or
three!) of golf at one of the 200+ golf courses in town or even take in a Spring Training game
in the merry month of March — just be sure to leave the ice-scraper at home.
Bust out your bathing suit, dust off your dancin’ shoes and shake out your shorts because while
working a very part-time schedule at one of our amazing Cal-Am resorts, you’ll also be living
the good life with full access to all of our first-class amenities — gorgeous pools,
well-appointed fitness centers, pickleball, bocce ball and tennis courts, dozens of classes and
clubs, happy hours with live music, big-name concerts (don’t miss Jeff Foxworthy, David Phelps
and
many more this year!) and so much more.

What’s it like Workamping with Cal-Am Resorts?
“Over the six seasons we have returned since, we have continued to enjoy the work we do. We
return for the experience of working with friends of previous years, the chance to establish
new friendships, and the camaraderie of a group that can work hard but also finds time to
socialize. We also return for less tangible benefits that are on-site like the post office
for sending and receiving packages, the grill offering inexpensive fare, the salon for hair
care, the weekly vendor market, and classes like wine tasting and technology. Each of these
we have used and there are many more available. Sports clubs and facilities, woodworking
shop, quilting, poker club, pools, and health club that are there for our use.”

“We have worked with Cal-Am for two years. We returned last year as we enjoyed the work we
did and the friendships we made. After retiring we decided we wanted a fun job, which we
found with Cal-Am Décor Team. Living at a Cal-Am Resort has many opportunities to make
lasting friendships! The amenities are endless from a restaurant with music, concerts,
cards, dog parks, pool, hot tub, pickleball courts and so much more. Thank you for the
opportunity!”

“My husband and I have been spending our winters at Mesa Regal in Mesa, AZ since the fall of
2010 as Workampers most of the time for the Decor team. We are full time rvers and love the
lifestyle, going back and forth between AZ and MN lake country. Have made many new friends.
We also enjoy the many amenities Mesa regal has to offer. My favorite is the pool and water
activities. Also enjoy Pickleball, happy hour bands, having a restaurant, laundry, beauty
shop, post office, church, Friday country store, all on site. It’s great to be able to bike
or walk around the park and feel safe. I even ride my bike to the grocery store and
vegetable market. There are always fun things to do with entertainers brought in, bingo,
theme based dances and parties, line dancing, Christmas parade We often go to [Towerpoint RV
Resort] for happy hour bands too. We have made good friends from all over the US and Canada.
I like to say, we are like a bunch of kids at summer camp, can’t wait to see all of our
friends in the fall and have fun. And our neighbors are great!! See you in October!!”
