A Jobinar is very similar to the Webinar. A Webinar provides participants from all over the country, the ability to connect with a presenter via their computer and telephone. You will view the presentation on your computer screen. The presenter may show you a Power Point presentation or share their Internet browser enabling you to see their mouse move around as they click through their web site. You will be able to interact with the presenter via a type-chat box or by speaking over a microphone and speakers connected to your computer or over a telephone connection.
The purpose of a Jobinar is to provide Employers the ability to present their opportunities as they would on a Job Fair floor with anyone who is interested in learning more about their operation. Again, this will all be accomplished using your computer connected to the Internet and maybe a phone. If you have attended a previous Workamper Job Fair, you have experienced how valuable it is to learn the details from the employer's representative. The Jobinar concept will provide you with the ability to participate in an Employer presentation without having to travel to a Job Fair location.

SET YOUR TIME ZONE! When you click a link to register for a webinar and you are on the page where you enter your name and your email address - look near the top where the date and time of the webinar is displayed. Next to this is a blue link that reads "Show in my time zone". Click this link and select your time zone from the drop down box. This will change the time so it displays in the time zone you selected - it will change it on the registration page AND in the emails you receive after registering.
